The part that pisses me off the most about all of this is that the brother also treated her like sh*t and they all expected her to go to his wedding like nothing happened. Real family doesn’t owe things to each other just because they’re related,especially when one hasn’t given the other anything in the first place. The level of entitlement is EXTREME.

Personally, if a relative I hadn't spoken to in years suddenly called me to guilt trip me, I'd ask who they were and pretend I didn't remember them. Then I'd tell them to stop calling me or I'd go to the police for harassment.

@Lai_edits45 . Yes but it's emotionally draining and I'm very costly and it's not always easy to prove because not everyone would see things simply one way over the other. I've had family do similar and wildly bizarre things, to the level of some people thought I was exaggerating, being overly dramatic, causing drama, or making it up. Yes these are examples of what people have said to me... Up Until They actually witnessed it. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise... So no, not everything is always clear cut and sometimes it's just easier and By far less stressful to just ignore them and allow them to be in their own misery alone. I don't understand why people don't ditch the email addresses their nutty family members have and change their phone numbers right away. You know they nuts are going to call from other numbers or make up new emails to get through. Just end it all before it starts. I deleted my email address and got my phone number changed about 10 years ago to get my siblings out of my life. It's been glorious 😄. I'm on Facebook under a different name so that they can't find me. And I never put pictures up of my family or grandchildren. Why don't these people do that lol.
